Site investigation is the least expensive yet most decisive item of a project. We build the drilling programme with the design engineer, setting depth, spacing and tests by structural load and site geology.
What we do on site
- Core and open-hole drilling
- Standard Penetration Test (SPT)
- Undisturbed (UD) and disturbed sampling
- Pressuremeter and Lugeon tests
- Piezometers for groundwater monitoring
Cores are photographed and archived in core boxes; RQD and TCR values are recorded on the borehole log.
